It's hard to capture the attention of any audience on the Internet. So, we did the opposite. Instead of making more digital ads, we started sending mail directly to dental, optometry, vet, and medical practices across the US. Each mailer is intentionally simple and focuses on the biggest pain points when running a practice. Over the course of two years, our mailers have become the most profitable advertising medium for Weave.
I never expected to put direct mail in my portfolio, but I'm proud of our strategic thinking and atypical approach to reach office managers. Sometimes it isn't the polished spot that gets the job done, but the hard-working printed piece.
